This work was a personal project during the summer of 2006. At the time of its completion, it was the best 3D graphics work I had done, and it remains the best work I have done using Strata 3D. The caffeine molecule and most of the base was created as polygonal mesh using Meshwork, while the glass dome and inlaid text was created in Strata 3D. All texture work, lighting, and rendering was completed in Strata 3D.
